Our newly redesigned and dedicated memory care community is designed specifically for our residents suffering with different forms of Dementia. The facility was developed to suit the unique needs that these conditions can present. Our memory care community is secured for the safety of your loved ones, as well as your peace of mind.It is our mission to help improve the quality of life for Palmcrest residents and their families by creating a safe, home-like and comfortable atmosphere.
We put great effort in removing the feel of being institutionalized, and have extremely large common areas to facilitate socialization. Residents are also encouraged to help out with household tasks including shopping in the nearby grocery store. If they get lost or confused, there is always a trained Palmcrest employee nearby to provide assistance.
The homelike setting at Palmcrest allows residents to live as normal a life as possible, with family style dining, visiting with friends, watching movies, stopping by the hair salon, or going for a walk whenever they wish.
Every Resident has access to:
Personal Grooming Assistance – 24hr/day staff assisting with basic ADLs: eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking) and continence
Medication Assistance – help dispense medication
Housekeeping Assistance – assist with the housekeeping
Meal Preparation – three meals a day, professional Nutritionist for appropriate nutrition
Accommodations – competitive private or semi-private suites, 2-way communication systems, bring in your own furniture, we provide furniture, if needed
Scheduled Transportation – schedule transportation for medical appointments, outings, and errands, transportation Aid if necessary
Social Activities & Entertainment – professional Social Activity Director, largest common areas then most facilities in the area, social areas
